Lead Service Line Inventory: Interactive Dashboard Now Live

The Town of Round Hill Utility Department is currently in the process of completing a Lead Service Line Inventory to identify any water service lines that may contain lead components within it’s service area. This inventory will verify both the portion of the service line owned by the Town of Round Hill as well as the customer.

Since the start of 2023, the Town has worked diligently using accessible records to identify customers who can be confirmed as not containing lead service lines. Currently, there are 210 Round Hill Utility customers who's homes were built after 1986 and cannot be completely verified as not containing lead material based on the information available. While the Town has not been able to conclusively verify the service line material for all homes as of today, it is not meant to suggest that your service lines contain lead if it is marked as unknown. It simply means the Town has been unable to conclusively verify that your service line does not contain lead. The Town of Round Hill is now requesting assistance to verify the customer portion of the service line.  

We need to work with customers to verify the material service line on their side. To make the verification process as simple as possible, the Town has created an interactive dashboard. On the dashboard there is an interactive map that identifies the homes where the material of the service line has not been verified. 

The interactive dashboard also contains a link to a customer survey that you need to use to verify the service line material entering your home. There are instructions connected to the survey to assist you in identifying any service line entering your home. You are also encouraged to attach a picture (if applicable) of your water service line to the survey. This survey will be sent directly to the Town of Round Hill Staff to be used to update the Town's Lead Service Line Inventory.
