Resident Information
Town Residents: For residents who reside in the Corporate Limits of Town, please refer to the trash & recycling information outlined below.
Out-of-Town Residents: If you live in the Round Hill Zip Code, but not in the Town limits, please contact your Home Owners Association for information about trash and recycling.
Pick-Up Schedule:
- Trash & recycling pick up is on Wednesday.
- To insure trash is picked up, please have trash out the night before or before 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Recyclables:
- Recycling items accepted (bottles, cans, newspapers, plastic containers).

Bulk Items:
To schedule pick up of bulk items please call 540-338-7878 at least three days in advance:
- Mattresses
- Bed Frames (disassembled)
- Appliances
- Couches
- Coffee tables
- Lamps
YARD WASTE (Mower Clippings in Bags and Small Bundled Branches ONLY)
Please see important information below for all customers regarding yard debris preparation and collection from the American Disposal website:
Residents must use compostable paper bags for grass clippings and leaves. Personal cans may be used; however, they need to be marked “yard debris”. Tree limbs and brush must be no longer than 4 feet in length and 3 inches thick in diameter. These items must be tied with rope or twine in arm length bundles. We will collect a maximum of 10 bags of grass clippings and/or leaves, and 10 bundles of brush per pick up. There will be an extra charge if you would like to schedule additional removal of these items. Please call in advance for pricing and to schedule.
Items that are bagged and bundled are not to exceed 50 lbs. Concrete, rocks, mulch, sod, and dirt are not accepted.
To purchase compostable bags, we recommend checking online, at the grocery store or warehouse stores such as Home Depot, Lowes or garden centers.
