Main Street / Franklin Park Trail Project
The Main Street / Franklin Park Trail project is a joint venture between the County and the Town of Round Hill. The Main Street Enhancement project, a Town project with County oversight, is funded with county and town taxes and a grant from the Federal Highway Adminstration's Transportation Alternatives Program. Main Street enhancements include concrete sidewalk along the east side of Main Street, curb on both sides of the street, curb ramps, small retaining walls and storm drainage improvements.
Happening in conjunction with the Main Street Enhancement Project, the Franklin Park Trail project is a Loudoun County Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure (DTCI) project which is funded with local taxes and a seperate grant from the Federal Highway Administration's Transportation Alternatives Program. This project includes sidewalks and a shared-use path from East Loudoun Street in the center of Town to Franklin Park in Purcellville.
