Loudoun Street Park

Originally called the “Town Park,” Loudoun Street Park is located at 3 East Loudoun Street and consists of two parcels of land totaling 1.57 acres which were acquired in 1995. Loudoun Street Park is the major venue for community-wide events such as the annual Hometown Festival, annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Movie Night in the Park.

The park provides areas for leisure activities with the front parcel (0.62 acre) consisting of the entrance, an oval walking path, pavilion, benches, small tables and playground equipment. There is electrical service and water available. The back parcel (0.95 acre) is in its natural state and contains walking paths and a few benches.

Loudoun Street Park is open to the public year-round from dawn until dusk.
