Tertiary Filter Replacement

The Tertiary Filter Project involved the installation of a garage door at the filter building and the replacement of the two tertiary filters that were installed over 20 years ago. These filters are the final line of treatment  in our system and provide additional removal of suspended solids and a further reduction of the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD). The total project was almost $1 million and critical to our plant's operations and State issued permits from Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). The project was delivered a month ahead of the contract target and under budget.
