Round Hill Community Garden

The Round Hill Community Garden, located on Falls Place near the old Pott’s Barn Site, was first established in 2009 as a public-private partnership between the Town of Round Hill and the Round Hill Community. The Garden, which provides Round Hill residents with seasonal ready-to-plant garden plots to rent, was founded under a volunteer group who garnered support within the community and from the Town. In August 2020, the Round Hill Outdoors Committee assumed oversight of the Garden and has been working diligently to restore the garden to open in the Spring of 2021.

The Round Hill Community Garden offers on-site irrigation and water system, compost, and storage. The garden is enclosed by an 8 ft. mesh fence to protect against animals. Several improvement projects are in the works for the inaugural season including new fencing, mulching pathways, and installing a rain barrel. RHCG organizers are also working to establish a mentorship program to help garden enthusiasts of all experience levels and offer speakers who can engage with gardeners on topics such as: Preparing Your Plot, Early Seeds to Plant, Beyond Pesticides, etc.

Registration begins in January and payments are due no later than February 15th each year. Three plot sizes are available for rent on a first come first serve basis
  • Small - $75 per plot (apx. 60 sq. ft.)
  • Medium - $100 per plot (apx. 100 sq. ft.)
  • Large - $125 per plot (apx. 200 sq. ft.)
