Evening Start Treatment Plant Replacement

The original Evening Star Water Treatment Plant was built by the developers of the ~1,200 home project surrounding the Town of Round Hill. The facility is now over 20 years old and was not designed to be expanded or modified to address new treatment requirements. With the addition of Well D, the Town is scheduled to build a new Regional Water Plant to treat the wells located in this section of Town and be able to address not only current but future operational/regulatory needs. The new plant will replace the existing plant once it comes online and the old plant is demolished. The Town is currently working with Loudoun County and the Virginia Department of Health on the design and approval with property being acquired from RHOA to increase the size of the property that includes the Evening Star Water Tank and Treatment Plant. Construction on this project should begin in late 2024.
